Portrait Photography  – Welcome to the Portable Studio.

My Portable Studio allows me to travel to YOU. As a portrait photographer I ensure comfort and calm prevails in my studio, as it can come to you rather than the other way round! I have a portable studio which can be erected anywhere. This takes the stress away from you immediately as you can be photographed in your own surroundings or on location.

Actor headshots

Coming from a film & TV background I started out shooting headshot for actors. This is something i can do to suit the audition or simply to create a few looks for your portfolio. The service involves travelling to you, shooting on location or in a studio setting, a private online gallery to view all shots and 10 of your favourite shots on disc in high resolution to keep.

Private Function

If you have a private party or event to plan why not hire a professional to photograph the entire event for you?

Take the element of chance out of it, and make sure you have a large body of brilliant images to remember the night by.

My hire fee includes a disc of images and digital download gallery options to be shared with family & friends.

I cater for everyone, Family Photography, Children and Baby Photos and Pet Photography. I can take care of it all! If it’s a formal head shot or a fun, outdoors shot which you can be proud to frame and look at in your home. I can deliver! The emphasis is on quality. From planning, shooting, editing, to the collection of your final framed portrait, your experience is a pleasant one.

Working with children

I am a mother of two small children myself so I can assure you I have plenty of experience getting the very best from children from behind the camera, while they have the best of fun in front of the camera. I have a selection of props I can bring to the photoshoot, and I always encourage using their own toys/blankets etc as they will evoke lovely memories in years to come. Photographing children in their own home is relaxing for the child and parent and it allows me to capture their character with great ease. Any photographer will tell you that the skill required in getting that ultimate portrait is pretty hard to define. Sometimes it’s just a moment and you manage to capture it. Portrait photography skills include the ability to put the subject at ease and hold all the technical settings in place, while at the same time structure a great composition. Not for the faint-hearted…If the subject of the portrait session happens to be a crying baby or a dog who will not sit still, that’s when a photographer’s people skills really come into play.
