Ciara was absolutely wonderful! She was more than just our photographer. She went above and beyond for my husband and I. Being from the States, she made it easy to get in contact with her, and offered to meet us when we landed in Ireland. She came to our hotel the day before our wedding just to answer all our questions, offer any help and welcome us to the country. Besides all that, her work is just incredible. She was able to get samples (a sneak peek) the evening of our wedding day. Our photos turned out amazing! Ciara stayed longer just to ensure we got any and all photos. Overall, we had an amazing experience and we would recommend her 100% if you want an extremely talented and personable photographer.

Eleanor & Justin’s Wedding, Carlow – November 2015

We couldn’t have been more delighted with the amazing photos Ciara took of our wedding day! Given that she was working with two people (the groom in particular!) who are a little uncomfortable with the idea of posing for photos, Ciara managed to make us feel completely at ease from start to finish with results that we were so pleasantly surprised with. She really managed to capture the fun and emotion of the day so perfectly, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Ciara was so much fun to work with on the day while at the same time keeping everything moving so smoothly. We never felt as though we lost time away from our guests for the sake of the photographs, which was important to us. Ciara understood this completely and yet still took oceans of beautiful photos! The research and thought she put into the day in the lead up to it was another pleasant surprise. We will treasure the photos and can’t recommend Ciara highly enough.

Firstly we can’t thank you enough for how personal you made our day feel. Living abroad meant putting our faith into others hands even more. When you suggested a Skype chat, we were delighted and it was a reflection of your personal touch and care. Your flexibility suited us down to the ground and your openness to our ideas as regards location meant a lot. On the day, we didn’t even know you were there, you blended in and and made us feel very relaxed. Your easy going approach was exactly what we hoped for and lots of people commented positively on that. The final selection of photos was beautiful! They were natural, captured the atmosphere as it was, colourful and really “us”. Family and friends loved the pics as much as we do.
Thanks a million Ciara! Wishing you lots of success in the future.

Emma & Tim’s Wedding, Cork

When we went about selecting a photographer, the first thing that stood out about Ciara was how approachable and friendly she was. We both found that being in her presence we felt very much at ease and so when she did our engagement photos we saw how professional and effortless the photos came out. On our wedding day Ciara made us feel so comfortable and so relaxed we sometimes forgot she was there but little did we realize she was capturing some of the most natural photos of our day. We loved all of our photos and would recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much again Ciara for capturing our special day. Tim and Emma xx

When selecting a photographer for our wedding we were looking for very specific items with major focus on photographic style, personal compatibility and professionalism. We invested a lot of time in researching our options and Ciara O’Donnell Photography fulfilled all these requirements prior to the wedding and subsequently delivered photographs that exceeded our expectations.

Ciara’s style of photography attracted us immediately. Ciara has a rich experience in photography and film and this shines through when you peruse the sample photos on her website. Her style matched our desires, being casual but with attention to detail and a range of technical styles that we wanted for our final album. From our first chat, Ciara took time to understand and identify our photographic ‘wants’ for our wedding shots  and delivered on this, capturing the true emotion, fun and detail of the day, to perfection. We are so happy with the set of photos.

We were not accustomed to being photographed (!) so we were looking for a person who would fit in with the atmosphere of our day, a person that us and our families would be comfortable sharing the day with. It was clear from our first meeting that Ciara would do just that. She displayed real professionalism and flexibility during the day, when managing the uncontrollable variables of inclement weather, changing schedules and wandering groups…and the rest! Ciara is a true professional with an easy manner coupled with an alertness to never miss a photographic moment, we were relaxed and always at ease knowing she had it all under control!

Ciara, was so prompt with processing the photos that even the week after the wedding sent us a set of processed photos in which to enjoy and relive the day. The full set of processed photos arrived shortly after and she gave us good guidance in how to choose a final set for the album, when I wanted to include them all! Ciara has always been readily available and quick to revert back on anything, it has been a treat to deal with someone so efficient.

Thank you Ciara for making the experience so enjoyable when it was an item that both of us were unfamiliar with and cautious of based on other peoples experiences. For us, Ciara O’Donnell Photography stood out from the rest as she is a true professional with a flair for artistic detail

We met Ciara at a wedding fair in the Gleneagle Hotel Killarney last year. We had spoken to a lot of photographers but when her met Ciara we got a good vibe, and we were right to choose her.  Ciara was exactly the type of person you need on the day, she was very relaxed and put people at ease.  She even went above and beyond when the lads were panicking as they couldn’t figure out how to put on their boutonnieres.  As the only woman in the room she took charge and sorted it out.  She is a consummate professional and brings ideas from her Production & Design background to her wedding photography.  The photo-shoot in Muckross House was one of the nicest parts of the day, although we were freezing! Ciara knew what she wanted from her photos and accommodated all our requests.  We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her  – lovely person – stunning photos.

Eva Maguire & Colman King, Dromquinna Manor,

Ciara proved to be an excellent photographer on our wedding day. She was friendly and easy going but also very focussed and professional. The day went by so quickly that everything seemed like a blur the days and weeks afterwards. What a relief to find that Ciara had captured the day perfectly!

We were amazed at the results, given that our guests had barely noticed her most of the time. The photographs were very natural and non posed taking in the mood and atmosphere of the day superbly. Many of the pictures took in the beautiful landscape and venue showing Ciara to be an an innovative photographer with a keen sense of perspective. We would highly recommend Ciara as a wedding photographer…Eva & Colman

Sineád Campion & Ciarán Mulhall, Laois. Married, Kenmare

As a couple we do not like getting our photograph taken but Ciara made the whole experience so relaxing. She took some fantastic informal shots of us getting ready and was so discreet taking them that at times I nearly forgot she was there! The same applied to the pre-reception drinks, Ciara just wandered casually through the guests taking some lovely natural photos. Even the posed photos don’t seem forced and we are thrilled with the results.

Helen Lowry & Stephen Kenny, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo

We are delighted to submit to this testimonials page for Ciara. Ciara photographed our wedding in Sligo. She also took photos for our wedding invite beforehand. Not only did Ciara do a really professional and top quality job she was also a joy to be around and ‘work with’ (even if she was doing all the working!). This is important because there can be nerves and emotions around big occasions like this and its a bonus to have someone with you who is calm, naturally creative, discreet and fun!  We were delighted with the photographs for both the invite and our celebration in March. The photographs of friends and family are very special to have and Ciara gave us lots of options (informal, edgy, in nature, family etc.). We did a ‘home made job’ of our wedding and Ciara also took some great shots of our efforts (tea pots, flowers, quotes etc.) and were chuffed with these too. We would recommend Ciara wholeheartedly and really appreciated her efforts on the day.

Deirdre Lowry & Brian Griffin, Lough Rynn Castle, Leitrim

Ciara did the photography for our wedding in Lough Rynn Castle and despite the relentless rain Ciara managed to capture so many beautiful pics which really captured the mood of the day, the various personalities of our many family and friends and generally how people felt throughout the course of the celebrations! Ciara listened to what we were looking for and was utterly prepared for the day. It’s such an important event in anyone’s life so capturing it in the best possible way is paramount. We would not hesitate in recommending Ciara to anyone.
